TWO AMAZING LEADERSHIP SESSIONS WITH KRISTEN CHECK OUT THE DETAILS

Session 1: You’ve Got This!
We are experiencing the greatest test the working world has faced in generations. The Great Resignation, Quiet Quitting, Career Cushioning, Conscious Quitting, social and political unrest, a generational divide, economic uncertainty, artificial intelligence . . . just to name a few challenges. If we want to continue to thrive now and in the future, the way we think about leadership, culture, and business needs to shift in a big way. And it’s critical that we take care of ourselves as leaders in the process.

When we are faced with challenges like change, growth, increased workload, and the everyday challenges of life outside of work, managing our time and energy can be even more difficult -- and even more critical. In this session, Kristen will help you understand the new context of our world and will challenge the traditional leadership approaches that are no longer working. You’ll learn actionable steps to build the best version of your organization yet, and most importantly, you’ll learn how to set boundaries and care for yourself so that you can give your best to those around you.

Session takeaways include:

● Identify the leadership mindsets, approaches, and mentalities that need to shift in order to thrive in the future
● Explore the needs of the rising generation and learn how to bridge the generational gap
● Redefine success in leadership and understand how to make a mindset shift to go from “I come last” to “I must take care of myself so that I can better take care of those around me”
● Learn how to prevent compassion fatigue and set boundaries while still showing care and support
● Explore the challenges of integrating work and life and discover how to achieve sustainable work-life harmony
● Understand what leads to emotional, mental, and physical burnout and identify action items to prioritize wellness and combat burnout in your culture

Session 2: Permission To Screw Up
Perfection is unattainable. So why do we feel pressure to have it all together?

Building on the themes in her book, Permission to Screw Up: How I Learned to Lead By Doing (Almost) Everything Wrong, Kristen will urge you to strive for your natural best rather than perfection. She’ll help you reframe your relationship with failure and will teach you how to talk about it openly. You’ll learn how to create an environment in your organization where failure is seen as growth, where you take risks, and where you collaborate and innovate for the future.

You’ll leave inspired to rethink what “strong leadership” looks like. Spoiler alert: It isn’t knowing all the answers and getting it right on the first try; it’s having the courage to admit when you’re unsure, when you need help, and when you don’t feel strong. Good leadership is about being more human and inspiring others to be the same.

Session takeaways include:
● Reframe your relationship with failure and develop a new perspective on failure as an opportunity to build resilience, creativity, and confidence
● Discover the role that vulnerability plays in a psychologically safe environment
● Understand how to be more human as a leader and how to model that for others
● Gain methods to empower others to find solutions and move forward, even when there is ambiguity and uncertainty
● Identify where you might be “over-stepping” and “under-stepping” as a leader
● Increase your ability to take risks and innovate
